Starting today all of our PRINTED holiday cards are on sale for 15% off! This includes any size, flat or folded, and even custom designs. That's not all....place your order by next Monday, the 22nd and receive free coordinating return address labels! Don't worry, if you haven't gotten the group together yet for the yearly family photo you can still take advantage of this sale. Just select "deposit" below to lock in your discount and we'll get them printed whenever you're ready!

To take advantage of this sale, just purchase the current Etsy listing of the design you prefer. Once you approve your digital proof I will send you a paypal invoice for the remaining balance. Remember, all of our designs are completely customizable. You can change the colors, fonts, graphics, layout, anything! All designs can be made into a folded card as well if you'd like to include more photos or a family letter!

Back in July, I was asked by Jo Anne of Oh Goodie Designs to create a classic snips and snails partyscape for a baby shower she was designing. I have to tell you, it was one of the most fun suites I've designed...a classic theme that never goes out of style. She did such a great job turning a drab hospital break room into baby shower central. View the full transformation here.

I've finally gotten around to creating a coordinating invitation and thank you card set for the sweet party pieces and I am thrilled with the way they turned out!

New Blog Design and Some Other Exciting News!

In case you didn't notice, we have a new blog! I've been thinking for months which direction I want to steer Sweet Prints in and it's been really tough. I love designing paper goods for kiddos (I have so many party invitations and cupcake toppers that haven't even made it to the shop yet) but I also love a really good, chic design and the name "Sweet Prints" doesn't really speak to that. So, after lots and lots of thought, I've decided that I'll keep Sweet Prints and it will be dedicated to everything "kid." Birth Announcements, Birthday Invitations and Partyscapes, our Just-Like-Me collection, and all of the other fun kid's stationery.

So, now for the exciting part (at least for me!)...In the next few days, olivia b. creative will debut! Named after my sweet baby girl, olivia b. will offer all kinds of graphic design services: logo design, full branding concepts, Etsy shop design, and blog design! We'll also be moving over all of our stationery, calling cards/business cards, and everything else for the "big people". That part won't be happening until after the holidays but the design services will hopefully be up and going next week! I hope to take all of the stress out of the branding process and make it a fun experience for you. Blog design can be so difficult and so frustrating if you don't have any experience with it and it is my goal to put your visions in motion. There will be more details of this to come soon!

I would LOVE to hear y'alls thoughts and feedback. I've been going back and forth on this for what seems like forever! I may end up keeping Sweet Prints fully intact the way it is and just leave olivia b. and custom design only...too many decisions!

New Custom Square Gift Card Design

Jen Soars contacted me about a week ago about creating some new gift certificates for her photography business. She wanted something simple pulling the beautiful deep purple from her blog and some patterns from my stationery. Here's what we came up with:

I just love that rich deep plum color. I think I'll turn these into some new calling card designs :) She ended up choosing design number 3 and we'll be pairing them with square gray envelopes. Pics to come!

Hip To Be Square?

Business cards have definitely evolved a lot in the past year or two...no longer are they just used for businessmen and women to be filed away into a Rolodex. Mom's are using them to arrange playdates, bloggers are using them to promote their blogs and other social media outlets, even kids are using them! They're not all white with black or blue text and, here's my favorite part, they're not all rectangular! Here are a few new square

designs that will help your cards stand in the stack.

Ok, I already told you how much I love this stuff.
